Marcia Selsor www.marciaselsorstudio.com
September 9th – 12th 2017

Travel. For all

This three-day long programme is the opportunity to visit some of Italy’s most stunning masterpieces related to ceramics and history. Marcia Selsor is a ceramic artist, a professor Emeritus and a passionate traveller. She will guide a small group to visit Faenza and Ravenna, providing in depth information and many curious anecdotes whilst sharing her passion and love for Italy.
Faenza is a quiet, provincial town close to the east coast of Italy. In spite of its modest size, it is the Ceramic Capital of Italy and hosts a most important Ceramic museum. In the city streets, there are still many active artisans and artist studios.
Ravenna hosts magnificent early Christian basilicas, late Roman and Byzantine Mosaics that are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. You will revive history.
The atmospheric four star Hotel Vittoria combines the charme of ancient times with comfort and excellent service.
