Silvie Granatelli, a working studio potter for the past 29 years has lived in Floyd, Virginia since 1982. She has taught ceramics at several universities including Berea College in Kentucky, and Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA. Silvie has also traveled throughout the United States teaching various workshops and seminars on functional porcelain. She has a bachelor’s degree from Kansas City Art Institute and an MFA from Montana State University in Boseman, MT.
