IAN GREGORY: Born 1942, Ian has explored various art media. From acting to music, ceramics and sculptural work. A maker and teacher for many years, he has recently been lecturing worldwide. He spends a great deal of his time in exsperimenting both materials and firing techniques. He is the author of several books.
He wrote: "...as with more architypal sculptures created to embody nourishment and the glorification of some deity made so long ago by a forgotten hand, the fundamental need is still with us to continue to produce things of beauty and to extend our creative horizons ..."
