PATRICK PICCARELLE
Trained in Belgium and in France in various schools and workshops. He has been professor of Ceramics at the Uccle Art School in Belgium ever since 1975 and has conducted workshops and seminars in several countries throughout Europe, in the United States and in China. Although always conscious of Eastern ceramics, for some time now he has been intrigued by "black" ceramics, a pursuit that has taken him to field-studies in the American state of New Mexico and in Mata Oritz, Mexico. For many years he has been showing his work in most European countries and in the United States; it is represented in many private and public collections.
