ISABELLA FAZZO
Born in Milano. Studied painting and textiles and then, in Florence, painting restoration and maiolica. After receiving a Diploma on Ceramic Design in England she returned to Florence where she devides her time between her studio and the teaching in various schools. Her main interest in recent years rests on the study and exploration of different firings and in particular smoke-firing techniques.
In addition to a career in ceramics, Isabella has also studied cullinary arts and now teaches cooking classes in Florence at... Isabella will be teaching the cooking portion of The Italian Table at La Meridiana June 12-24, 2005.
