Don Davis
Holds an M.F.A. degree from the Rhode Island School of Design, has been a studio potter since 1974 and has taught and led workshops for many years. Since 1976, when he started Davis Studio Pottery in Ashville, North Carolina, Don has made - and continues to make - a wide range of wheel-thrown, handbuilt and cast pieces. His work appears in galleries, museums and collections both in the United States and abroad.
He is the author of "Wheel Thrown Ceramics" and Ceramic Art Professor at the East Tennessee State University.
